Yaw is movement on which axis?

Vertical axis.

Yaw is rotation about the vertical axis—the axis that runs up and down through the aircraft. This movement makes the nose swing left or right, changing the aircraft’s heading without inherently tilting the aircraft. The other two rotations are about the other axes: roll is around the longitudinal axis (nose to tail), tilting the wings up or down; pitch is around the lateral axis (wingtip to wingtip), lifting or lowering the nose. For example, using rudder pedals induces yaw; rolling with ailerons causes roll; lifting with the elevator causes pitch.
